Nutella Hot Chocolate
This is a bit of an odd recipe but good for when you're in a bind with no cocoa powder in the house. For a variation, I added a shot of Viennese Chocolate liqueur that I picked up when I was abroad. I would imagine any other hard liquor would do just fine though or even a spoon of dulce de leche if in a supersweet mood. - Charlene K. Lau
3/4 cup whole
milk
2 heaping teaspoons Nutella
Whipped cream for serving or frothed milk
1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, bring the milk to a simmer.
2. Add the Nutella and stir with a wooden spoon until thoroughly blended.
3. Pour into a mug and garnish with a dollop of whipped cream. Serve immediately.
Makes one serving.
