Sounds so common, they're being given away! Commonsounds is a series of audio CDrs made by hand and given away for free. Each CD in the series deals with the commons—the public domain and all that is 'common'.

The first edition is available online via alectric:audio & the Commons. The tracks draw on common literature, folksongs, Paris Hilton, film soundtracks and classical music performances.

The second edition was released Summer 2004.
