Sounds so common, they're being given away! Commonsounds is a series of audio CDrs made by hand and given away for free. Each CD in the series deals with the commons—the public domain and all that is 'common'.

The second edition was a much larger affair with 13 participants in total from across North America. This time, the CDs featured special cover art by Geoff Piersol, not to mention a very official-looking stamp. The audio explores topics like: Star Wars, communal humming, Black Sabbath, Glenn Gould, New York Transit, and the simple act of breathing. Again, no aural stone unturned!
