"as small as a drop, as wide as the ocean"
i found this quote from an article about learning objects and e-learning standards. i like it. in a way, it is an accurate description of my current state of being and mind: the push and pull of my feelings and beliefs, the negotiation and renegotiation of my values. vague, right?
i had an interesting experience at the bruce labruce opening at gallery 1313 last weekend. as i mentioned to c., the live photoshoot involved the following:
- all kinds of nudity
- a machine gun
- a machete
- a rope
- a bucket of fake blood
- busy hands, constantly groping
did you expect anything less from bruce labruce? it was.. an experience.
so, i am still the queen of procrastination - i better get back to work.

Ay. Saw the show and when I exited, felt like I was leaving the scene of a crime. Had to look twice to see if I was tracking blood all over my house- that would surely have freaked out my landlady. "Erm, I stepped on a dead raccoon on my way home! Sorry!"
Hmm, what is it all exactly? Not porn. Not art...oh, this conversation is already not worth having...
Sounds like an interesting display. Around here, I'm mostly dragging cut brush out of the forest and extracting wildflowers from the city grounds (for free, too... maybe I should rethink this whole art thing...).
