Yes, that's right... I'm going to be working again today. Picture me smiling and greeting you as you come into the store... picture me asking you if "that will be all," picture me telling you to "have a nice day." Awesome.

Well Mark-o, if only you worked closer- like in the same province or city say, I would have dropped by as I did my 'visit friends at work' round today.
Do you have an Esso smock with a button of a happy face on it? It's first on my style list of Top 102 Hot Summer Trends for Esso Employees.
No Esso smock, but I do have a 'brand trendy' polo shirt for the summer months and a sweatshirt for the cold months. They're both 25% red (the tops) and 75% navy blue (the bottoms). Imagine that garnished with an Esso patch on my breast and a dapper pair of navy blue workpants, and, boy! what a look!
that is still much cooler than the black smocks at the bay. for me, instead of "will that be all?", it is "will that be on your hbc card?". instead of "have a nice day", it is "thanks, take care". and instead of a smile, it is a face that is difficult to describe in words, but best expressed by this emoticon... :|
Oh geez. I guess my greeting would be, "Good morning/afternoon Canadian Art, Charlene speaking" - which is sometimes followed by on the other side of the phone line "Hello Charlene Speaking". Ha.
I think I am spoiled by my freedom in clothing myself. My work uniform can range anywhere from teeshirt, sneakers and jeans for everyday to Tom Ford for Gucci/YSL on the cheap for special events. A restless wardrobe for a restless girl?
