World Cup feeeevah
Two weeks until I touch down in München amidst World Cup fandemonium. Can't. Wait. Ever since seeing a fussball-themed exhibition at Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin in October and buying my very first football scarf (pictured), I've been pumped for this.

My German co-pilots Timo and Gero are hyped. They've been watching the games (piped in on a big screen or something like that, because not all of them are happening there... some are in Dortmund) from the Schalke football stadium in Gelsenkirchen... they were going to watch the Germany-Poland game. That would have been crazy.
Heard the Germans tightened security along the Polish border for the Cup.
It really has taken over Toronto- I got my hair cut today whilst tensely watching the Netherlands/Ivory Coast match on fancy flat screen TVs. Who would think you could watch sports in tony Yorkville salon?
