Rejection Hotline

okay, so this first sentence from the Wikipedia entry for "Rejection Hotline" says it all: "The Rejection Hotline is a list of phone numbers with a recorded message informing the caller that he/she has been rejected by the person giving him/her the number."

BRILLIANT. i'm disappointed that i didn't come up with the idea first. i already memorized the toronto number and am ready to pass it on to any creepy weirdos loitering around transit stops demanding my digits.

I want candy

This article on the differences between British and American manufacturing processes of candy bars is interesting. For me, this explains why Coke tastes better in Canada and has less bubbles in Europe. Conversely, Maltesers are coated in better chocolate here in Europe compared to back home. I find them less waxy than their North American counterparts.

This is Shit Gold

I'm a bit late on the draw here, but I just watched a short video on nytimes.com about the Wrong Store, an offshoot of Maurizio Cattelan's 'The Wrong Gallery'. Tobias Wong (of Gold Pills fame that make you shit gold, baby) and Gregory Krum had the idea of opening a store that is never open. And by the way, don't even try going there, 'cause now it's closed.
